#NoEmitOnErrorsPlugin

NoEmitOnErrorsPlugin prevents Rspack from emitting assets when a compilation contains errors. Setting optimization.emitOnErrors to false applies this plugin internally.

#Example

The following development configuration keeps the previous files in dist unchanged when the new compilation has an error:

  mode: 'development',
  entry: './src/index.js',
  plugins: [new rspack.NoEmitOnErrorsPlugin()],
};

For example, if src/index.js contains a syntax error, Rspack reports the error without writing assets from that compilation. The equivalent configuration is optimization.emitOnErrors: false.
